This exceptional carbon Damascus is created using a low-layer twist technique, combining high-quality K720 and 15N20 tool steels. The result is a dramatic, bold pattern running across the entire surface, as well as excellent performance properties.

• BÖHLER K720 Steel (1.2842 / 90MnCrV8 / O2)– A cold-work tool steel known for its high hardenability, excellent wear resistance, and great dimensional stability after heat treatment. Thanks to its balanced composition of carbon, manganese, chromium, and vanadium, it provides exceptional hardness, toughness, and long-lasting edge retention.

• 15N20 Steel– Enriched with nickel, this steel creates bright, contrasting bands in the pattern and increases overall toughness and impact resistance. 15N20 steel is also valued for its good workability and ability to withstand impacts without sacrificing edge performance.
